Job description

About Mirantis

Mirantis is the Kubernetes-native AI infrastructure company, enabling organizations to build and operate scalable, secure, and sovereign infrastructure for modern AI, machine learning, and data-intensive applications. By combining open source innovation with deep expertise in Kubernetes orchestration, Mirantis empowers platform engineering teams to deliver composable, production-ready developer platforms across any environment—on-premises, in the cloud, at the edge, or in sovereign data centers. As enterprises navigate the growing complexity of AI-driven workloads, Mirantis delivers the automation, GPU orchestration, and policy-driven control needed to manage infrastructure with confidence and agility. Committed to open standards and freedom from lock-in, Mirantis ensures that customers retain full control of their infrastructure strategy.

Job Description

At Mirantis, we’re looking for a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join our growing UI/UX team and help shape the future of our cutting-edge k0rdent platform. This is an opportunity to be part of a team redefining how enterprises and service providers manage AI infrastructure at scale.

As a key contributor, you’ll focus primarily on front-end development—creating intuitive, high-performance interfaces that bring our AI infrastructure management solution to life. Working with React and TypeScript, you’ll collaborate with an exceptional team passionate about design excellence and technical precision.

In this role, you’ll spend about 60–70% of your time crafting the front-end experience and the rest building APIs and backend logic to keep our interfaces fast and intelligent.

What you’ll do

  • Build dynamic, real-time dashboards using React, TypeScript, and Next.js

  • Design and implement pixel-perfect UIs with Tailwind CSS that scale from mobile to 4K displays

  • Develop robust backend services to power responsive and data-rich applications

  • Create exceptional developer experiences for AI/ML engineers and data scientists

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the frontend of a greenfield, Kubernetes-based PaaS application using React and TypeScript

  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high-quality, production-ready code

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, UX designers, UI leads, and engineering leadership to align on requirements and ensure design consistency

  • Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and the technology stack to maintain innovation and efficiency

  • Produce technical content, demos, or presentations to contribute to the broader Kubernetes/cloud-native community

  • Actively challenge existing processes and solutions while supporting team growth and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in frontend development

  • Expert knowledge of React, core JavaScript/HTML/CSS, and TypeScript

    • Mastery of advanced features like hooks, context, suspense, etc.

    • Next.js experience with both app router and pages router

    • Ability to write backend services when needed

  • Next.js experience with both app router and pages router

  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, web page performance optimization, debugging, and best practices

  • Experience with module bundlers, reactive state management, and JavaScript unit and feature testing frameworks

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards, design systems, Figma, and cross-browser compatibility development

  • Eye for design and UX best practices

  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Domain-specific certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

  • Experience working with AI/ML tooling

  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Understanding of DevOps/Cloud Native practices

  • Experience with high-scale applications

Soft Skills and Team Fit

  • Proven problem-solving, consultative, and relationship-building skills.

  • Entrepreneurial drive with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.

  • High integrity, transparency, and a collaborative mindset
