Backend Developer (Python)

We’re looking for a Backend Developer (Python) to join our team at MindPal for a project with a MedTech client focused on data analytics and process optimization. You’ll help build and enhance backend systems that support medical data processing and visualization, contributing to solutions that have a real impact on healthcare innovation.

This role is perfect for a developer who enjoys working with clean, maintainable code, data-driven systems, and modern cloud technologies.

🟪 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services in Python (Django).

• Refactor and optimize existing code to improve performance and scalability.

• Design and implement efficient data models and SQL queries.

• Collaborate with data and frontend teams to support data visualization and reporting features.

• Work with Microsoft Azure services (Functions, Storage, Databases).

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best engineering practices.

🟪 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in backend development with Python (preferably Django).

• Solid understanding of relational databases and strong skills in SQL.

• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and software architecture principles.

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.

🟪 Nice to Have

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Plotly, Dash).

• Familiarity with Flask or other Python frameworks.

• Knowledge of Azure cloud and DevOps practices.

• Interest in MedTech, data analytics, or healthcare innovation.
