Project Overview
We are seeking a Senior TypeScript engineer to join our HealthTech product teams. You’ll contribute to building SaaS solutions for the US pharmaceutical market, including Patient Onboarding, REMS Administration, and Wholesale Distribution. Our stack includes React, Nest.js, Prisma, and an Nx monorepo deployed on Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, API Management).
You’ll work closely with US-based stakeholders, so excellent English and strong communication skills are essential. We highly value engineers who stay on top of modern development trends and use tools like Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, and other AI-enhanced environments.
Technical Details:

Team Composition:
6 Software Engineers, Data Engineer, 2 QA Engineers, 3 Business Analysts, UI/UX designer, Delivery Manager
Responsibilities
Build and maintain features across the React front‑end and Nest.js APIs within the Nx monorepo
Define and evolve system architecture for microservices and event-driven applications
Optimize PostgreSQL schemas using advanced techniques like partitioning and replication
Implement a secure, HIPAA-compliant API, using the FHIR data model
Lead integration of Azure services (APIM, Managed Identity, Functions, Key Vault)
Define test strategies, implement contract testing, and enforce CI quality gates
Own the technical roadmap and mentor other team members
Present solutions directly to clients and facilitate architectural discussions
Qualifications
5+ years of experience with TypeScript in production environments
2+ years of experience leading architecture or major features
Experience with FHIR and HL7 healthcare data exchange standards
Understanding of Protected Health Information (PHI) compliance requirements
Deep expertise in REST APIs, database design, microservice design, and event-driven architecture
Proven experience with Nx monorepo structures and CI optimization
Deep understanding of modern authorization mechanisms
Strong understanding of Azure IaC practices and cost-effective multi-environment deployments
Mastery of GitHub Actions, full CI/CD pipelines, and release governance
Fluency in English and the ability to lead client demos and team knowledge sharing
