Junior Integration Specialist (f/m/d)

The Junior Integration Specialist will play a key role in connecting different business systems smoothly and efficiently using modern integration platforms like SAP CPI and Mulesoft. The specialist will contribute to setting governance standards to ensure high-quality integrations and support the team in transitioning to a modern, API-first approach. This includes helping to phase out outdated platforms, ensuring solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining integration flows between SAP and non-SAP systems using platforms like SAP CPI or Mulesoft, 

• Support efforts to ensure integration solutions are cost-effective and optimized for performance and scalability,

• Help develop and manage APIs, including basic API modeling and integration with services like OData,

• Contribute to the migration of integration scenarios to modern platforms such as SAP CPI and Mulesoft,

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and team members on projects to deliver integration solutions that meet business needs,

• Assist in implementing and following API governance and best practices to maintain consistency, security, and compliance,

• Participate in managing the API lifecycle, including supporting design, deployment, monitoring, and versioning,

• Help troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to minimize business impact,

• Stay informed about emerging integration technologies and suggest potential improvements,

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and business analysts to support the delivery of high-quality integration solutions.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field,

• 2 years of experience in working with cloud integrations in the global environments,

• 2 years of experience with any integration platform provider,

• Very good verbal and written communication skills in English,

• Ability to develop and troubleshoot integration scenarios and mappings,

• Understanding of cloud integration platforms and on-premises integration challenges,

• Experience in documenting technical specifications and process flows,

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies,

• Ability to develop and troubleshoot integration scenarios and mappings,

• Familiar with middleware technologies, web services (SOAP/REST), XML, XSLT or JSON,

• Familiarity with various communication protocols such as IDoc, RFC, HTTP, OAuth, SFTP and others. 

Additional Skills

• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems,

• Experience with version control tools and agile development methodologies.

The recruitment process consists of the following steps:

• CV selection – we contact selected candidates

• Initial interview with the Manager or technical Expert (video conference, approx. 1 hour)

• F2F meeting at the office, video conference, or decision on the selection of the candidate and making an offer.
