Our Opening and Your Role
The Data Migration Specialist is responsible for managing data migration and governance lifecycle activities for the SAP ECC (SCM/PLM) for large SAP implementation projects as well as smaller-scale projects and tasks. The role also coordinates with the data load team to perform data loads, identify errors, and apply continuous improvement to the entire migration process. This position has a direct impact on the overall ability to achieve high-quality master data within METTLER TOLEDO.

- End-to-end data quality by defining and executing validation processes, data cleansing, and data preparation in the area of SAP ECC – SCM/PLM (Material, Inventory, BOM, Routings) in SAP Roll-Ins and other assigned projects.
- Managing changes to extraction and transformation processes and tools, including value mapping, data preparation, and data de-duplication Mitigate risks and manage issues related to assigned projects, tasks, and assigned deliverables.
- Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities, specifically template processes and deliverables.
- Maintaining effective relationships with internal team members, business, project, process, and IT application teams.
- Own data migration processes and documentation across assigned data objects.
- Supporting Data Governance tool development.
- Designing database tables and structures (Access, SQL).
- Creating views, functions, and stored procedures (Access, SQL).
Your Profile
- Strong Analytical skills with the ability to proficiently use MS Excel and MS Access.
- Understanding of ETL data migration process.
- Working experience in a similar position and with SAP or Salesforce or another CRM system.
- Experience with MS SQL Server will be your asset.
- Very good knowledge of English (min. B2).
- Structured, detailed working methodology; continuous improvement approach and process-oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a global environment.
