Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior or Mid IT Security Engineer to join our team. As part of our IT integrator organization, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced security solutions for our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of IT security technologies and a proactive approach to safeguarding systems and data against evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored security strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint security, and SIEM solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and threat analysis to identify and remediate security gaps in client environments.
• Ensure client systems comply with security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
• Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, including root cause analysis, containment, and recovery actions.
• Work closely with clients to understand their security needs, recommend solutions, and provide ongoing support and education.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate security considerations into new and existing IT infrastructures.
• Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, incidents, and compliance activities. Provide reports and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
• Senior Level: 5+ years of experience in IT security roles, preferably within an integrator or consulting environment.
• Medior Level: 2-5 years of experience in IT security, with demonstrated expertise in implementing security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS).
• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure or AWS) and hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, encryption technologies, and authentication mechanisms.
