  • Ensure platform scalability, resilience, security, and operational efficiency by implementing best practices in cloud service configurations and automation.

  • Provision, manage, and troubleshoot core cloud infrastructure components as needed.

DevOps & Continuous Delivery Automation

  • Manage CI/CD platforms and code repositories, and develop automated pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure provisioning, while promoting GitOps for declarative infrastructure.

  • Automate testing, security scanning, and compliance validation within software delivery pipelines, supporting Software Developers in adoption of DevSecOps best practices.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending enhancements to platform engineering capabilities and driving continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) by sharing best practices, innovation ideas, and operational enhancements.

  • Optimize cloud solutions for performance and cost efficiency through rightsizing, auto-scaling, and automation techniques, aligned with FinOps practices.

Other

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent

  • 8+ years in IT, with 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles, preferably in enterprise-scale environments

  • Expertise in implementing hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, leveraging cloud-native services, serverless computing, microservices architectures, and containerization on Azure and GCP

  • Solid understanding of core infrastructure services and concepts, including networking, security, identity and access management, monitoring, and disaster recovery

  • Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing automation platforms, and automating software releases in DevSecOps environments

  • Proficiency in using Infrastructure-as-Code tools, declarative languages, and scripting languages

  • Strong communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead technical initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, advocating for best practices
