QA Consultant

Responsibilities:

1. Explore new areas for test automation.

2. Take responsibility for implementing the testing strategy and architecture for mobile applications.

3. Coordinate complex tasks across multiple teams within the organization.

4. Develop cross-team/common  Define quality goals and metrics (KPI/Quality Gates) for testing.

5. Independently identify areas for improvement in relation to the testing strategy.

6. Design and implement automated tests for Android and iOS.

7. Coordinate activities between project teams, product owners, and IT teams

8. Select, recommend, and implement testing tools, including:

• test automation tools,

• tools supporting manual testing,

• no-code/low-code and record & play tools for non-programmer testers,

• tools for quality analysis and monitoring.

  
  

Requirements:

• Very good understanding of software development processes.

• Strong knowledge of mobile test automation tools.

• Ability to communicate information clearly and precisely, effectively collaborate with teams, and jointly define cross-team goals.

• Commitment to continuous skill development.

• Practical knowledge of tools for test management and defect reporting.

• Ability to read/analyze logs and analyze raw data.

• Practical knowledge of TestLink, Xray, or similar tools.

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Teams.

Nice to have:

• English at a level sufficient to read technical documentation.

• Experience conducting educational activities by monitoring current practices (an asset).

• Ability to communicate precisely, both directly and via electronic channels (email, chat, video).

• Practical knowledge of Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, Xcode.

• Knowledge of selected scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Ruby).

• Experience working in Agile methodology.

• Experience with automated testing in large IT projects.

• ISTQB certification.
