Senior React Native Developer

We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer who will join the mobile team. International collaboration between Poland, Italy, and Canada offers a great opportunity to grow and be part of the team developing an application supporting video surveillance solutions.

This contract is for a minimum of 12 months. If the candidate knows other mobile technologies (especially Android), the cooperation will be longer.

We expect a hybrid model: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Design, coding, testing, debugging and delivery of mobile applications

• Engage with the team to design and develop best-in-class features

• Collaborate with your cross-functional peers as we productize your work

• Support our team to resolve issues reported by our customers

• Innovate as you research new technologies and resolve complex problems

• Plays an active role in assisting managers in delivering related activities

• Recommends innovative solutions with a total system-wide view and adds to the patent portfolio

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer with most of your experience developing with React Native Applications (iOS, Android)

• Familiar with REST/SOAP-based multi-tier architectures

• Familiar with HTTP and WebSocket technology

• Android SDK, Java and Kotlin are considered a very welcome plus

• Knowledge of the project life cycle management for the related App Stores Store and the developer content policies

• Demonstrated experience and solid understanding of OOP, design patterns and mobile development best practices

• Demonstrated experience in building multi-threaded applications on mobile platforms

• Demonstrated experience and deep understanding of memory management on mobile platforms

• Ability to evaluate performance issues and perform necessary optimizations

• Experience developing for multiple device sizes and orientations

• Experience with unit test frameworks

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented work ethic

• Experience with Agile software development frameworks (SCRUM)

• Solid knowledge of Software Version Control Systems, like Git, and the related best practices

• Proficient in written and verbal English (daily communication)

• Polish at min. communicative level

• Hybrid work model: ability to work at least 3 days a week from our office in Gliwice

Nice to have:

• Experience developing Android applications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a similar technical University degree
