We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our remote team and support enterprise-level backend applications in the finance and banking industry. You will work on backend components and data pipelines for large-scale custom software systems.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining Python-based backend solutions, collaborating closely with technical teams, and ensuring reliable delivery of data-driven features and services.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
• Implement and support ORM-based data access layers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on solution design and implementation
• Analyze technical requirements and propose optimal backend solutions
• Maintain high code quality standards through testing and documentation

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of commercial experience as a Python Backend Developer
• Proficiency with relational databases and ORM frameworks (e.g. SQLAlchemy)
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to write clean, maintainable code
• Comfortable working with documentation and distributed teams
• English and Polishproficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of FastAPI, Flask, or other modern Python web frameworks
• Familiarity with pipenv, poetry, and virtual environment tools
• Experience with testing tools (e.g. pytest), linters (e.g. flake8, pylint)
• Background in data science tools (e.g. pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, Spark)
• Exposure to DevOps practices and Git workflows
• Experience with other backend stacks (e.g. .NET, Java, Node.js)
