Are you ready to take on a challenging role in the enterprise insurance sector?

We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer to strengthen the IT applications team of a leading European insurance provider.

This position involves working on mission-critical systems built on Oracle technology, contributing directly to modernisation, migrations, and integration projects that drive the business forward.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using PL/SQL and Oracle technologies

• Design efficient, scalable database solutions and optimise existing code

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SQL and Oracle performance issues

• Support database and application migrations

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders in Agile SCRUM projects

• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Integrate PL/SQL applications with other enterprise systems

What we are looking for:

• Min. 3 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer

• Strong expertise in Oracle DB, PL/SQL, TOAD, SQL Developer

• Proven experience with Oracle Forms

• Performance tuning and SQL optimisation skills

• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM projects

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Nice to have:

• Domain knowledge in insurance or financial services

• Experience in large-scale system migrations

• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns

• TIA system experience

• Familiarity with modern development and security practices
