Are you a hands-on Python engineer who enjoys building production-grade serverless components on Azure and orchestrating GenAI workflows end-to-end?

Our client from the technology & digital innovation industry is looking for a Senior Python Developer (Azure Functions, GenAI - LangChain/LangGraph) to join a team delivering AI-driven backend services and cloud-native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-ready Python services and cloud-native components with a strong focus on clean architecture, testing, and maintainability

• Design, implement, and run serverless workloads on Azure Functions, including triggers, bindings, deployments, monitoring, and operational ownership

• Develop GenAI-driven workflows using LangChain and/or LangGraph - prompt chaining, tool calling, orchestration logic, routing, fallback strategies, and integrations with external services

• Integrate LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and ensure safe, reliable execution patterns (rate limits, retries, observability, error handling)

• Work with data stores and APIs, process structured and unstructured data, and package solutions using Docker and Git-based workflows

• Collaborate with DevOps, platform, and product stakeholders to ship scalable solutions aligned with security and compliance requirements

What we are looking for

• 4+ years of strong hands-on Python development experience (software engineering level, not scripting)

• Practical, production experience with Azure Functions - building, deploying, operating, and troubleshooting serverless components

• Hands-on GenAI experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph, including real implementation of orchestration logic (workflows, chains/graphs, tool calling, integrations)

• Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic or similar) and building reliable backend patterns around them

• Cloud-native mindset and experience working on Azure as a primary platform

• Strong communication skills and English at B2+ level
