Automation QA Engineer

Are you passionate about test automation and ensuring the reliability of complex enterprise systems?

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer (API) to join an enterprise platform programme for a global insurance provider.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute automated API tests for REST and SOAP services

• Work with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, UFT API Testing, and Gatling

• Validate authorisation, headers, payloads, and response codes

• Log, report, and track defects until resolution

• Support test strategies, estimations, and CI/CD test automation (Jenkins, Git)

What we are looking for:

• Min. 4 years in test automation with strong API automation experience

• Hands-on expertise with Postman, SoapUI, UFT API Testing, or Gatling

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP testing, XML/JSON validation

• Experience with JIRA or equivalent test/bug management tools

• Good understanding of CI/CD practices (Jenkins, Git)

• Working proficiency in Polish and English

  
  

Nice to have:

• ISTQB certification (Foundation or higher)

• Familiarity with Playwright or other automation frameworks

• Performance testing experience
