Job Overview

We’re looking for an experienced IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to join our core OPS team and help us develop, secure and evolve our global server infrastructure. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values automation, proactive thinking and transparency
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve our internal Linux-based infrastructure (Debian, KVM, LXC)
Automate tasks and processes using Ansible, GitLab CI, and scripting (Bash/Python)
Monitor systems using Zabbix, Icinga, Grafana, and internal tools – act on alerts and improve visibility
Support containerized services and internal web apps (Docker, NGINX, Apache)
Collaborate with developers and other IT teams on infrastructure requirements
Participate in on-call rotation and react to production-related issues (24/7)
Manage VPNs, tunnels, network configurations and firewalls to ensure prevention and protection across environments
Document changes, share knowledge, and support long-term architectural decisions
Required Qualifications and experience:
At least 3 years of experience in system administration in production environments
Strong knowledge of Debian/Linux systems and virtualization with KVM/LXC
Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python)
Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and automation (preferably GitLab and Ansible)
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, NTP, FTP, IPv6)
Knowledge of common security principles and OS-level hardening
Ability to communicate in English (B2+), both written and spoken
Team player mindset, ownership, and desire to improve infrastructure continuously
Nice to have:
Experience with containerized services (Docker)
Knowledge of backup/redundancy strategies, monitoring tuning and performance troubleshooting
Experience with SQL-based databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
Experience with Fortinet device
