Data Engineer (Data Governance)

Lufthansa Systems Poland is looking for a Data Engineer to support Data Governance initiatives within the Lufthansa Group.

The role focuses on building and maintaining integrations, APIs, and processes related to data governance platforms such as Azure Purview and Unity Catalog.

Your responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of APIs for Azure Purview and Unity Catalog.

• Development and maintenance of processes sending data to and from Azure Purview and Unity Catalog

Our requirements:

• Experience in Python development.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

• Experience with version control systems ( for ex.: GIT).

• Understanding of the concept of unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience or willingness to learn of basic Azure Platform administration.

• Experience or willingness to learn about Data Contracts and Data Quality.

• Good knowledge of English in speaking and writing (B2/C1).

• Team player with good communication skills.

• Readiness to work from the office in Gdańsk min. 2 days a week.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge about Agile/Scrum methodologies.
