Job description

Marketing at LiveChat brings together passion, creativity, and innovation. To deliver our message at scale we build beautiful and fast websites visited by 1M+ users per month, online tools for marketers and customer service agents, as well as advanced analytical and reporting systems for internal use.

What you will do:

Develop full-stack (backend + frontend) web projects for Marketing purposes
Communicate and integrate with systems developed by other teams
Create internal tools supporting Marketing processes and goals
Architect analytical solutions spanning across different projects that will help us drive actionable insights
Contribute to architectural design of different Marketing projects
Maintain a broad technical understanding of our core products and the underlying technologies and protocols
Help other engineers in Marketing flourish

Some of the projects you might work on:

Custom attribution model for our product website: design event flow, gather data about website activity and its sources, correlate website activity with business data, design presentational layer
Mobile version of Typing Speed Test, our most popular free tool: https://www.livechatinc.com/typing-speed-test/ (React + Laravel), creating similar growth marketing tools
Email management and automation system
Referral program
Website personalization

About you:

You love web and development
You’re passionate about data analytics, metrics, and statistics
You have an innate interest in learning about customer’s behavior through both numbers and qualitative data
You have strong communication skills
You can talk both computer and human languages. Even if it takes some preparation, you are able to express your ideas, concerns, and ongoing project updates in a way that is clear, respectful, and relevant to others. That includes your non-technical colleagues.
You like being performance and results-oriented
Experience with at least two programming languages, one of them being JavaScript, and the other either PHP, Golang or Python
Experience with one of popular frontend frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, Svelte)
Experience building a full stack web application (frontend SPA, backend REST API, database)
You have a good understanding of the SaaS business model as well as the related concepts like churn, retention, and so on
