Lionbridge Games is looking for a dedicated Technical Software Test Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will report and regress bugs, assist in test coordination, and provide valuable feedback to improve product quality. What You Will Do:

Report and regress bugs to validate that they have been addressed correctly, and vet them to ensure quality standards.

Assist in test coordination, test status reporting, and risk assessment based on the test scope, schedule, and requirements.

Prepare, run, and maintain test cases.

Provide feedback and suggestions to improve product quality and the gaming experience.

Provide project feedback and ideas to peers, leads, and management.

Spend hands-on time playing and testing the games to understand issues in context and provide better solutions.

Become an area specialist and the primary point of contact for the assigned area.

Continuously expand knowledge of testing practices and relevant hardware.

Constantly share knowledge with other team members (involved in the training process).

Participate in improvement initiatives.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
-
Minimum 1.5 years of experience in technical testing.
-
Very good understanding of quality assurance processes, test scope requirements, and testing methods.

Working knowledge and experience using bug tracking tools (Jira).

Very good knowledge of English, both in speaking and writing (min. C1).

Highly developed interpersonal skills.

Good organizational and time management skills.
-
Excellent attention to detail.
-
An educational background in a technology-related field would be an asset.
Nice to have:

Familiarity with Mac OS and Linux platforms.

Familiarity with the bug tracking tool Qmetry would be beneficial.

Basic knowledge of C++.
