Test Automation Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking ownership of test processes at the production team level.
• Leading testers and driving the implementation and continuous improvement of effective testing practices.
• Collaborating with stakeholders throughout all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from planning to risk management, to achieve project and client goals.
• Completing tasks on time while providing regular status updates.

Requirements:

• Experience:
• 3–7 years of experience in Test Automation.
• Proven expertise in leading test efforts and mentoring test teams.
• Experience in building and managing test automation frameworks from scratch (designing test automation architecture).
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Expertise in test automation tools and languages, such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Python, and JavaScript.
• Proficient programming skills in C# and Java.
• Experience with database concepts and query languages (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Knowledge of performance test design and implementation.
• Ability to integrate test automation with test management tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Ability to guide and support other test automation engineers.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2+ level), enabling seamless collaboration with globally distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations.
