Job description
Global investment advisory firm leveraging advanced technologies and data analytics to enhance portfolio performance and deliver strong financial returns.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development and optimization of the internal data platform.
- Design and manage data pipelines using Python and Airflow.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and database performance.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver solutions on AWS, GCP, or preferably Azure.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of Python development experience with a focus on performance optimization.
- Advanced SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL).
- Experience with DBT and cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Upper-intermediate to advanced English.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
Nice to Have:
- Expertise in data pipeline design and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with PySpark, SQLMesh, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence.
