Starszy Analityk Biznesowy (finanse)

Resposibilities:

• Conceptual work on the development of applications and information systems involving aligning business requirements with users and preparing documentation necessary for their implementation by programming and integration teams.
• Defining requirements, identifying areas of applications requiring changes, participating in the software development process (analysis, design, testing).
• Creating and maintaining documentation of business processes.
• Mapping processes according to BPMN notation.
• Resolving issues and meeting current needs of internal and external clients.
• Monitoring the system and responding to issues (data analysis, error analysis, optimizations).
• Subject matter support for programming teams and supporting development work around managed systems.

Scope of Duties:

• Conducting workshops and interviews to define business requirements;•
• Analysis of internal and external documentation to define regulatory and accounting requirements for our company's systems;
• Definition, documentation, and management of functional and non-functional requirements;
• Definition of detailed data processing algorithms;
• Definition of analytical-reporting requirements;
• Definition, optimization, and documentation of business processes; Identification of factors affecting proposed solutions, considering integration aspects with other systems;
• Verification of delivered software in terms of compliance with requirements;
• Participation in standardization processes in the area of IT systems development and management;
• Collaborating with development teams to describe tasks and requirements, and supporting the testing process.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of methods for collecting and managing functional and non-functional requirements;
• Practical skills in describing business processes, especially in BPMN notation;
• Ability to create analytical documentation and conduct analytical workshops;
• Knowledge of system integration issues;
• Analytical thinking, curiosity, and attention to detail;
• General knowledge of financial/accounting issues, accounting principles, and tax law;
• Fluent command of English and Polish languages;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as communication skills;
• Responsibility for assigned tasks; Creativity and non-conventionality;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Familiarity with Adonis tool and agile methodologies will be an additional advantage.
• Education in the field of economics or Experience working as an accountant or in a similar position or Experience working as an analyst in the financial area, e.g. involvement in the implementation of a new Finance and Accounting system.
