Senior Software Engineer - Python or Java or Golang

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend APIs, data streaming services, and analytical pipelines leveraging cloud and distributed computing technologies.

• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture to deployment and support.

• Collaborate with end-users and internal teams to refine requirements, share best practices, and provide hands-on support.

• Build robust monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for the platform.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and on-call rotations in a global, collaborative engineering team.

• Deliver high-quality software that is well-tested, documented, and production-ready.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong expertise in Python or Golang and building distributed systems.

• Experience with APIs (REST/RPC), real-time streaming (Kafka, Flink, etc.), and analytical databases.

• Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases (time-series DBs a plus).

• Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerization (Docker; Kubernetes a plus).

• Cloud experience (AWS preferred).

• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other automation tools.

• Background in highly available distributed systems.

• A strong interest in building scalable, reliable, and customer-focused data platforms.
