Senior Manager AI

Summary: The Senior Manager AI will lead the tactical execution and technical delivery of artificial intelligence and machine learning projects. This role focuses on translating strategic AI goals into functional models and applications that solve complex problems in drug discovery, clinical trials, or operational workflows. You will manage a team of specialists to ensure that AI solutions are not only innovative but also robust, scalable, and fully compliant.

Key Requirements:

• Direct professional experience in the Life Science sector, with a practical understanding of how to apply AI/ML within GxP environments and validated systems.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT or Data Science, with at least 4 years specifically focused on managing the development and deployment of AI/ML models.

• Strong technical background in machine learning frameworks, data engineering, and cloud-based AI infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing project lifecycles using Agile or similar methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical data scientists and business-oriented stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of AI/ML solutions, from initial proof-of-concept to full production deployment and maintenance.

• Ensure all AI initiatives adhere to industry-specific regulatory standards, including documentation requirements for model validation and data integrity.

• Manage a team of AI engineers and data scientists, providing technical mentorship and ensuring resource optimization across projects.

• Collaborate with data owners to ensure high-quality data pipelines are in place to support accurate and unbiased model training.

• Monitor model performance in production, implementing retraining loops and quality checks to maintain long-term reliability and accuracy.
