DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, automating, and optimizing deployment processes across on-premises and cloud environments. If you have strong expertise in WebSphere, Ansible, GitHub Actions, and experience in on-prem infrastructure, we’d love to hear from you! Knowledge of AWS or Azure DevOps will be a great plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize on-premises infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Automate deployment processes using Ansible and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Administer WebSphere Application Server, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure security, performance, and availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processes.
• Implement best practices for DevOps, automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Integrate cloud services (AWS/Azure) into existing on-prem environments when required.

Requirements:

✔ 3-4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

✔ Strong hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server.

✔ Expertise in Ansible for automation and configuration management.

✔ Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation.

✔ Strong knowledge of on-premises infrastructure and its challenges.

✔ Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (nice to have).

✔ Good scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).

✔ Experience with monitoring tools and infrastructure security best practices.

✔ Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams.
