Senior Data Scientist

Job Overview:

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team, collaborating closely with software engineers and machine learning experts. In this role, you will play a key role in developing AI models, designing data processing pipelines, and extracting insights that will shape the future of finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand banking back-office workflows and reconciliation processes
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for storing and processing large datasets
• Conduct advanced statistical analyses and data mining on big data
• Partner with AI model developers to design and implement state-of-the-art AI algorithms and models
• Create clear, impactful data reports, visualizations, and diagrams for internal and external stakeholders

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field, with 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong background in data storage, processing, and analysis, with a focus on large data sets
• Expertise in bank back-office reconciliation and familiarity with banking or securities trade is highly preferred
• Experience building data pipelines and processing frameworks
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms; experience with generative AI is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences
