Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Job Description

Your role will focus on delivering business-critical data.

You will be involved in an exciting project to build a new cloud-based data warehouse solution aimed at optimizing and supporting trading processes.

Your responsibilities will include working in a cross-functional team, where you will handle requirements analysis, testing, programming, and deployments, as well as consulting with the business on proposed solutions.

An important aspect of your role will be collaborating with other developers in the team, including mentoring, conducting code reviews, and participating in design decisions.

Our Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
• A passion for creating solutions that bring value to the business.
• Proficiency in areas such as data integration, data modeling, and building data pipelines in the cloud.
• Knowledge of tools such as SQL, Python (or another programming language), version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in testing and test automation.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage, or experience with other cloud providers and tools such as Dataform, Terraform, and monitoring and alerting systems for data warehouses.
