QA Automation Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Automated QA Analyst to contribute to the development and testing of public APIs, ensuring high-quality solutions that enhance customer experience. The role involves designing and maintaining automated test cases, collaborating with developers and business analysts, and ensuring system performance, stability, and reliability. The team follows an agile approach, leveraging microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities:

• Define testing strategies and coverage in collaboration with business stakeholders and developers.
• Assess new functionality for potential impact and risk.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases following BDD/TDD methodologies.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Debug software, review application code, and track defects to resolution.
• Ensure proper test coverage across various test environments.
• Monitor and validate software changes from development through release.
• Continuously improve QA processes and evaluate new testing tools.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, QA practices, and agile methodologies.
• Experience testing web and client-server applications, including RESTful and streaming APIs.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably C#.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing using tools like SpecFlow (or similar BDD/TDD frameworks).
• Experience with debugging, reviewing application code, and developing automation utilities.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, version control, and test management tools.
• Experience in financial applications, trading platforms, or reporting solutions is a plus.
