Principal IT Business Partnering Lead

Summary: The Principal IT Business Partnering Lead acts as the primary strategic interface between the IT organization and key business functions (such as R&D, Clinical, or Quality). This role is responsible for understanding business strategies and translating them into technology roadmaps. You will ensure that IT investments deliver maximum value and support the complex scientific and operational goals of the organization.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the Life Science industry, with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain and the regulatory impact on technology solutions (GxP, CSV).

• Proven track record in a Business Partnering or Relationship Management role, successfully bridging the gap between technical IT teams and non-technical scientific stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of the digital landscape in Life Sciences, including experience with LIMS, CTMS, EDC, or similar clinical and laboratory systems.

• Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to manage expectations and drive consensus among senior leadership.

• Fluent in English, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex business cases to global stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

• Serve as the strategic point of contact for business leaders to identify technology needs and opportunities for digital transformation.

• Develop and maintain multi-year IT investment roadmaps that align with the specific needs of the Life Science business units.

• Advocate for business requirements within the IT organization to ensure that delivered solutions are fit-for-purpose and compliant.

• Lead the creation of robust business cases, ensuring that all IT initiatives demonstrate a clear Return on Investment (ROI) and impact on patient outcomes.

• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in the Life Science space to proactively propose innovative solutions for business challenges.
