PHP Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design and delivery of enterprise-grade software solutions. The role requires strong hands-on development skills in PHP, front-end technologies, and databases, as well as experience working in cloud environments and leading development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain web applications and services using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SQL databases (MySQL/MSSQL).

• Take ownership of software components across the full development lifecycle — from requirements analysis, design, and implementation to deployment and support.

• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and QA teams to translate requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.

• Lead and mentor development teams, define best practices, and ensure coding standards are applied consistently.

• Optimize applications with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.

• Manage configuration, release processes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Develop and execute unit tests, support integration testing, and provide 2nd/3rd line support when needed.

• Prototype new features and evaluate technical feasibility of proposed solutions.

• Work in an Agile/SCRUM environment, including estimation, sprint planning, and reviews.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, ICT, or related field.

• 4+ years of professional PHP development experience, including at least 3 successfully delivered projects.

• Solid understanding of modern PHP development practices.

• Hands-on experience with cloud-based development and deployment in at least two projects.

• Strong front-end skills (JavaScript/ES6, CSS preprocessors, Bootstrap).

• Experience with UML and ability to design solutions at data, business logic, and UI layers.

• Proven track record of contributing to enterprise-scale systems.

• Ability to lead and coordinate development teams.

• Strong documentation skills and ability to clearly communicate technical solutions.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
