Oracle APEX Data Engineer

Required Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in informatics, information systems, or a related discipline in IT or data science.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in analytics, resource/performance management, or data science.
• Comprehensive expertise in Oracle APEX, including its architecture, key components, and development best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL for database queries and PL/SQL for procedural programming within the Oracle database environment.
• Solid understanding of relational database design, including normalization and indexing to enhance performance.
• Capability to evaluate and optimize application performance, particularly in query optimization and resource utilization.
• Hands-on experience with integrating APEX applications with external systems, APIs, or third-party services.
• A track record of working within interdisciplinary global teams and navigating matrix organizational structures.
• Previous involvement in validating computerized systems and familiarity with testing methodologies, along with an understanding of associated risks, challenges, and activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills, a focus on quality, and a results-driven approach.
• Proficiency in English.

Desirable Skills:

• Professional background in clinical development or the biopharmaceutical industry, such as experience in Regulatory Affairs, Biostatistics, Drug Safety, or Clinical Operations.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance APEX applications and build custom user interfaces.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working as part of Agile teams.
