MID Software Development Engineer in Test

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with Scrum team members to ensure robust test coverage, including edge and boundary case scenarios.
• Actively participate in Agile processes such as stand-ups, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
• Ensure the systematic execution of automated tests during CI/CD pipelines for both acceptance and deployment phases.
• Optimize test strategies and challenge existing processes to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across different countries to ensure consistent testing practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of various testing methods, including acceptance, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Solid understanding of both functional and technical aspects of software applications.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps methodologies, integrating testing into the development workflow.
• Experience with BDD tools (e.g., SpecFlow, Cucumber.js) for writing structured test cases.
• Proficiency in automation using object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C# and scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of web service testing (REST, ESB patterns) and related automation tools.
• Experience in UI automation testing using tools like Selenium or Webdriver.io.
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to identify the root causes of defects and performance issues.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within distributed teams across multiple regions.
