Linux Systems Administrator / Support Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator / Support Engineer to join our team and help maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Linux-based systems, automating processes, ensuring system security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. Responsibilities
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of Linux servers.
Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure in production environments.
Manage authentication, access controls, and security policies, including integration with centralized authentication services.
Automate system administration tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
Maintain system documentation, including configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Work closely with other teams to support infrastructure needs and implement best practices.
Analyze system logs, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
Experience managing user authentication and access controls.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Hands-on experience with scripting in Bash or Python.
Knowledge of storage management, including file systems, remote mounts (NFS, CIFS), and logical volume management.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to infrastructure management.
