Lead & Regular Data Scientist (Computer Vision with GenAI)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join the AI team, specializing in Computer Vision and GenAI solutions. The role involves supporting clients in implementing customized OCR models, image and video analysis, and content generation. Key projects include image compliance analysis, object detection, and monitoring processes such as thermal or mechanical treatment. Projects are typically carried out in teams of 2 to 6 professionals with diverse expertise, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Technical Leaders, and Project Managers.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing end-to-end Computer Vision projects at various stages (PoC, MVP, enterprise solutions).
• Validating data quality.
• Developing solution components within a microservices architecture.
• Testing model performance.
• Leveraging GenAI models where applicable.
• Supporting project delivery.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to provide high-value business solutions.
• Analyzing results, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations, including estimating benefits and measuring ROI.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming, along with basic SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with CV/ML/DS libraries such as NumPy, OpenCV, PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, and cloud-based AI APIs (Azure AI Vision, GCP Vision AI).
• Understanding of core machine learning concepts.
• Hands-on experience in Machine Learning projects, particularly in Computer Vision.
• Ability to gather business requirements, translate them into technical plans, process data, perform feature engineering, evaluate models, and deploy them.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Additional advantages: experience with big data and distributed environments, familiarity with GenAI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini).
