Summary: The Lead AI Strategy is responsible for bridges the gap between high-level business vision and technical AI execution. This role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing AI use cases that can transform drug discovery, clinical development, and commercial operations. You will act as the primary architect of the AI roadmap, ensuring that every initiative aligns with the organization’s long-term scientific goals and competitive positioning.

Key Requirements:

• Proven professional experience within the Life Science industry, with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain and the regulatory implications of AI/ML (GxP, FDA/EMA guidance on AI).

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic consulting, digital transformation, or AI program leadership, with a strong track record of moving projects from ideation to value realization.

• Expertise in assessing the feasibility, ROI, and ethical considerations of AI technologies in a medical or scientific context.

• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, including Data Science, Clinical Research, and IT leadership.

• Exceptional English communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI capabilities into strategic business cases for executive review.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the enterprise AI roadmap, ensuring a balanced portfolio of short-term wins and long-term transformational projects.

• Conduct strategic assessments of emerging AI technologies (e.g., Generative AI, LLMs) to determine their potential impact on Life Science workflows.

• Establish frameworks for AI value measurement, tracking KPIs related to speed-to-market, cost reduction, and improved patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Quality teams to define the ethical and regulatory boundaries for AI usage within the company.

• Lead the selection of external AI partners, startups, and vendors, managing strategic relationships to accelerate internal innovation.
