Java & Mainframe Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer with a strong background in Java development, mainframe (COBOL) programming. 

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and COBOL.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

3. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

4. Investigate and resolve complex technical issues independently.

5. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java development and mainframe (COBOL) programming.

• Strong knowledge of full-stack development

• Ability to work independently and investigate technical issues with minimal supervision.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modern development frameworks and tools (IntelliJ, ArgoCD, OpenShift etc.)

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Understanding of control attestations and their importance in the development process.

• Always be on the lookout for further optimizations within the delivery processes and work products.

• Preferably, experience in the banking sector or a strong understanding of banking processes and systems.
