Data & Analytics Lead

About the Role

In this role, you will take ownership of sensitive data products and workforce analytics, ensuring that data is accessible, reliable, and actionable for business stakeholders. You will help shape the long-term direction of data architecture, working closely with technology teams to continuously improve capabilities and align with evolving best practices.

You will be responsible for designing and developing data solutions that support HR and business decision-making, including workforce planning and organisational effectiveness. A key part of the role is establishing strong governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.

You will also act as a central point of contact for sensitive data-related initiatives, collaborating across teams to drive improvements in data usage, processes, and tools. In parallel, you will support the development of analytics capabilities within the team and promote a more data-driven approach to decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and enhance sensitive data products and analytics solutions

About You

You are a proactive data professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to clearly communicate insights. You take ownership, look for ways to improve data quality and processes, and are comfortable working across both technical and business teams.

Requirements

• Experience working with analytics and data in complex organisations

• Strong background in data modelling and data pipelines (e.g. dbt, Snowflake, Fivetran)

• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI

• Experience with data governance, quality frameworks, and system integrations

• Ability to work with stakeholders across business and technology

• Experience building or supporting analytics capabilities within teams

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI/ML or advanced analytics use cases

• Experience with predictive models or intelligent planning tools

• Background in complex, multi-system environments

• Familiarity with modern data architecture approaches (e.g. data mesh)
