Business Systems Analyst (Calypso & Middle Office Operations)

About the Role

We are looking for a high-level Middle Office Expert with a deep understanding of the Calypso platform to join our strategic project team. In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between complex financial operations and technical implementation. This is an urgent requirement for someone who can combine deep market knowledge with the ability to design and document robust platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Engineering: Translate complex Middle Office business needs into high-quality functional specifications.

• System Design: Describe and design system interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow between Calypso and external financial platforms.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary intermediary between traders, operational teams, and developers to ensure alignment on project goals.

• Trade Lifecycle Ownership: Oversee and document the trade lifecycle within Calypso, focusing on post-trade processing, valuation, and settlement flows.

• Technical-Business Synergy: Leverage your technical understanding of Calypso (configurations, modules) to propose feasible business improvements.

Requirements (Must-have)

• Proven Calypso Expertise: Hands-on experience with the Calypso platform is mandatory.

• Middle Office Background: Strong knowledge of Banking or Asset Management operations (Trade Validation, Collateral, Corporate Actions, etc.).

• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to write clear, structured functional documentation and interface descriptions.

• Hybrid Mindset: A unique ability to speak both "business" and "IT," understanding how market events impact system architecture.

• Communication: Fluent English is required for daily collaboration in a global environment.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis.

• Experience with Calypso upgrades or migrations.

• Background in agile project management (Scrum/Kanban).
