Mandatory Skills:

• Azure Expertise: Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, architecture, and capabilities
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience in designing and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Ansible1
• Security Best Practices: Strong knowledge of security principles, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
• Automation Skills: Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Desirable knowledge of Databricks
• Collaboration and Communication: Agile framework (Scrum) experience
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, security professionals, and operations teams.
• Monitoring and Incident Response:
• Skills in monitoring security threats and responding to incidents promptly

Role Description Skills:

• 5 years of experience candidate, ideally in projects around product development using Databricks
• Developing and Maintaining Applications: Design, deploy, and maintain applications on the Azure platform, ensuring they are secure and efficient
• Implementing CI/CD Pipelines: Set up and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline application deployment
• Security Integration: Work closely with development teams to integrate security measures throughout the development lifecycle, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Manage and automate cloud resources using IaC tools like Terraform or ARM templates

Monitoring and Incident Response:

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to security incidents promptly
• Automation and Scripting: Automate security assessments and other processes using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the Scrum teams, including developers, QA and PO to meet project goals and deadlines
• Documentation: Document procedures and processes for future reference and troubleshooting

Main Skills Required:

• Extensive knowledge of developing modern data platforms in Azure cloud data services – IaaS & PaaS (Possibly Databricks)
• Hands-on experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool
