Application Specialist Finance

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on development and implementation projects to align solutions with business needs.
• Analyze business requirements and provide cost-efficient, long-lasting solutions using D365.
• Plan and execute system and acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain documentation, including requirements, functional design, change requests, training manuals, and test scripts.
• Utilize common D365 functionality and tools for system configuration and implementation.
• Perform data migration: extract, transform, and load data using the Data Management module.
• Manage configuration tasks such as copying configurations between legal entities and transferring configurations between environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IT to ensure smooth program integration.
• Provide training and support to end-users for efficient use of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
• Configure financial management and supply chain management (SCM) modules.
• Apply and manage standard processes within the system.

Competencies:

• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, specifically in finance and procurement.
• Functional knowledge in areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Credit & Collections, Inventory Management, Sales & Marketing, Procurement & Sourcing, and Product Information Management.
• Experience with supply chain planning, procurement and sourcing, inventory management, warehouse management, and asset management within SCM.
• Full lifecycle D365 implementation experience.
• Proficiency with ISVs like Exflow and SK Global, and localization knowledge.
• Strong understanding of electronic reporting and data migration.
• Knowledge of ITIL and CMMI Level 3 processes.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools, branching, merging concepts, and debugging tools like editors and IDEs.
