Analyst in investment banking

Role Overview

We are looking for an Analyst with a strong background in investment banking and financial products to join our team focusing on regulatory reporting. This role is ideal for someone with around 1-3 years of analytical experience who is eager to grow within a dynamic and international financial environment. You will work closely with stakeholders across operations, risk, and compliance to ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with global regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, validate, and deliver accurate regulatory reports within agreed deadlines.

• Perform data analysis and reconciliations using Excel and SQL to ensure completeness and consistency of reporting data.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across compliance, risk, finance, and technology to gather data and resolve discrepancies.

• Work with large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, or reporting risks, providing actionable insights.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation and dashboard creation using tools like Alteryx and Tableau.

• Stay up to date with evolving regulatory requirements impacting investment banking and fund structures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an Analyst in financial services, ideally within investment banking or asset management.

• Strong Excel and MS Office Suite skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).

• Solid knowledge of SQL; experience with Alteryx or Tableau is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of financial products, including equities, fixed income, exchange-traded derivatives, and OTC derivatives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
