Aeronautical Services Reliability Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Reliability Engineer to support the performance, stability, and resilience of critical aeronautical services and operational systems within a global aviation environment.
In this role, you will ensure high service availability, analyze incidents, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate across technical and operational teams to maintain excellence in service delivery. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in a regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and enhance the reliability and availability of aviation-related services and systems
Monitor operational performance and proactively identify potential risks
Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and recommend corrective measures
Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to implement sustainable improvements
Contribute to system design reviews to strengthen robustness and fault tolerance
Support system testing, validation, and verification before production releases
Prepare and maintain operational documentation, service reports, and process guidelines
Ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations, internal standards, and industry best practices
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance optimization and service quality
Required Qualifications
4–6 years of professional experience in reliability engineering, technical operations, or similar roles
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Practical experience with monitoring tools and incident management processes
Understanding of aviation services, operational workflows, or other regulated environments
Familiarity with IT systems supporting operational or mission-critical services
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Proactive attitude with strong quality orientation
Nice to Have
Knowledge of aviation regulatory frameworks such as International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) or European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
Experience with service management methodologies (e.g., ITIL)
Familiarity with automation, monitoring, and reporting solutions
Hands-on experience with structured incident management and RCA methodologies
Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or iterative delivery frameworks
