Senior PHP Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4 years of expertise with PHP 7, 8;
• Experience with Magento 2 development in the last 2 years;
• Working knowledge of PHP object-oriented programming and MVC applications;
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal): B2-C1;
• Solid understanding of design patterns;
• Base knowledge of HTML\CSS\JS;
• Excellent knowledge in any of the RDBMS: MySQL, MariaDB, Postgresql;
• Experience developing and integrating with REST, and GraphQL API’s;
• Willing to gain expertise in multi-direction with other PHP Frameworks and CMS systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• E-commerce website development mainly focused on PHP and Magento 2;
• Business and technical specifications/requirements analysis, estimation, and implementation;
• Collaboration with Business Analysts for requirements consolidation, working on end solution Architecture to match the requirements;
• Support the engineering team to ensure proper implementation of the project’s functionality, Code Reviews;
• Implementation of integrations with third-party API and services;
• Participating in daily meetings and sprint planning;
• Support and control tech quality of code, collaboration with QA-team.

‘Nice to have’ skills

• Magento 2 certification;
• Experience with AWS and/or other Hyperscalers;
• Knowledge in modern PHP Frameworks will be a plus, and will help to gain expertise in multi-directions;
• Expertise in Magento 1 solutions migration and modernization projects.
