Test Automation Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Join our team as a Test Automation Engineer and ensure the highest quality in software delivery. With a focus on meticulous testing and continuous improvement, you’ll craft comprehensive test plans, maintain and enhance our automation framework, and collaborate closely with developers to achieve exceptional product performance. Your keen attention to detail and expertise with automated tools will be instrumental in driving our success in the dynamic igaming and sports betting industry.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Extending and maintaining the test automation framework
• Collaborating with the development team to ensure comprehensive code test coverage
• Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback 
• Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases 
• Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly and tracking bugs and performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• At least 4 years of recent experience in java development and backend testing
• Experience with integration tests tools like Rest Assured or relevant HTTP client
• Knowledge of JUnit 5 or relevant test runner
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Exceptional attention to detail

NICE TO HAVES

• Knowledge about or experience with sports betting
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, and Appium
• Online gaming and gambling experience
• High motivated about Software Quality Discipline in general such as ensuring the quality of software requirements, software development life cycle and testing methodologies in general
