Backend Engineer - Payments

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be a part of the platform domain which is the foundation of LeoVegas. Contributing to build the best solutions possible to create the best iGaming experience. You will be involved in building tooling for the developer pipeline delivering more streamlined and secure flows. 

Join our Payments Team, responsible for building payments gateway solutions, as well as robust and fast integrations with global payment providers to handle monetary transfers in and out of our platform. 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Driving the development of our payment solution.
• Work in an innovative environment, creating challenging solutions with high-frequency transactions.
• Creating the greatest user experience for our customers depositing money to play and accessing their winnings as smoothly as possible.
• Build functionality to increase the approval rate of successful bank transactions.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Min. 4 years of experience in using Java + Spring Boot framework
• Experience with MySQL and Kafka
• Familiarity with microservice architecture
• Being not only a developer but primarily a software engineer - you love taking ownership of delivered solutions from their design to implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English), capable of articulating technical decisions and offering valuable recommendations to the team.
• Fluent English (C1 level is a minimum, as we communicate mostly in English)

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with Kotlin
• Experience in building applications for payments industry

• 💸monthly salary: 20 000 - 26 000 PLN net VAT (B2B) OR 16 500 - 21 500 gross PLN (UOP)

Our recruitment process:

1. 45-minute phone/Zoom call with our recruiter
2. 1,5-hour technical interview with the task (code review)
3. max. 40 min online personality and logic test
4. 1-hour cultural fit interview
