📽️ Why This Role Exists

Hero is the backbone of every shoot, script, storyboard, call sheet, and client interaction - and we’re now evolving it into a scalable SaaS platform. Our team builds the systems that power how 100+ creatives, producers, editors, and crew members work globally, centralizing every detail in one cohesive workspace.

From real-time feedback and instructions to creative outputs and production logistics, we’re turning a traditionally fragmented video production process into a streamlined, intuitive product.

As we shift Hero from an internal tool to a full-fledged SaaS solution, you’ll help shape the user experience for a broader market of production teams and video creators around the world.

Together we’ll radically improve production speed and accuracy so creatives can spend more time creating. 

🛠️ What You’ll Work On

• 🇵🇱You’ll be working mostly in the Polish time zone (CET) with a team that is primarily made up of Polish engineers.

• 🚛 Build production ready projects from end-to-end with a team that prioritizes speed of learning using React 19, MUI  and more.

• 🙏 Collaborate with product experience managers and other engineers on small, autonomous squads. 

• 🎨 Build intuitive, AI-first interfaces that empower creatives to work faster, edit smarter, and stay in flow.

• 🧩 Design and implement seamless user experiences around prompting, knowledge surfacing, fact-checking, and AI-assisted workflows. 

☑️ Who We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of direct, Full Stack or Frontend engineering experience

• Strong experience in Typescript and React ecosystem

• Experience driving features from 0 to 1

• Attention to detail

• Great UI and UX intuition

• Strong customer empathy and a willingness to learn rather than prove

• Proven background of engineering collaboration, Git management, and shipping cross-functionally facing products

➕ Bonus Points For

• Experience with MUI design system

• You have a library of agents and personal AI projects you’ve built

• You have deep, direct experience with our tech stack

• You have SaaS and B2B or marketplace experience

• You’re not afraid of advanced Figma features and tooling
