We’re on the lookout for a skilled Process Analyst. By mapping and understanding processes through modeling (BPMN), the process analyst provides a clear, standardized view of how processes operate. This visibility is essential for pinpointing inefficiencies and ensuring consistent execution across teams.
Tasks for a new employee
- Process Modelling
- Map and document key business processes using modeling standards (e.g., BPMN).
- Engage with stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of workflows, objectives, and bottlenecks.
- Regularly update process models to reflect changes and improvements.
- Cross-Process Modeling
- Develop and integrate cross-functional process models to highlight interactions and dependencies.
- Identify and map process interdependencies, ensuring seamless handoffs and reducing cross-functional inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with other teams to align and standardize processes where feasible.
- Metrics Selection
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs), SLA for each process, such as waste and value measures.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure selected metrics align with organizational goals and provide meaningful insights.
- Dashboard Creation
- Design and implement dashboards to visualize selected KPIs and process performance data.
- Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Regularly update dashboard content to reflect process changes or new metrics.
- Process Assessment
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Gather and analyze data on process performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Provide qualitative insights based on observations and stakeholder feedback.
- Daily Metrics Monitoring
- Track process SLAs daily to identify early signs of inefficiencies or deviations.
- Maintain a log of daily metrics to spot trends and proactively address potential issues.
- Communicate any immediate concerns to relevant team members or stakeholders.
- Anomalies Registration
- Record and categorize any anomalies or unexpected events within processes.
- Anomalies Management
- Investigate registered anomalies to understand causes and impacts.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor the resolution process and track improvements or recurrence.
- Weekly Process Review (WPR) Data Preparation
- Gather and prepare data on process performance, recent anomalies, and corrective actions.
- Summarize key insights for weekly process review meetings.
- Ensure data is accurate, relevant, and presented clearly for stakeholders.
- Execution Reporting (Including Weekly Business Review — WBR)
- Compile and present reports on process execution, including successes, challenges, and any ongoing initiatives.
- Provide a regular update on process improvements and their impact on KPIs.
- Contribute insights and data during Weekly Business Reviews as needed.
- Insights Generation
- Analyze process data and trends to generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Identify and communicate patterns in inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and resource utilization.
- Provide recommendations to enhance process performance and reduce waste.
- Experiment Analysis
- Evaluate the results of process improvement experiments to understand their impact.
- Compare baseline performance data to post-experiment data, highlighting any changes.
- Document findings, lessons learned, and suggestions for scaling successful experiments.
