Senior Fullstack Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Fullstack Developer to join our team. As part of our remote team, you will work on building scalable backend services and APIs, collaborating with product and frontend teams to deliver innovative SaaS solutions for the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Great English language skills.
• Experience with building SaaS applications (ideally in a product-led company).
• Experience with modern JavaScript (and TypeScript), CSS, and Web APIs.
• Experience with component-based, declarative UIs (we use React).
• Experience with GraphQL (we use Apollo Federation heavily).
• Experience with building APIs (both internal and external ones, e.g., for 3rd parties).
• Knowledge of rendering and design systems (as you’ll be building it up with us).
• Insights into accessibility in web apps.
• Experience with AWS and its ecosystem (Lambdas, going through CloudWatch logs).

Requirements

• 3+Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new product features from concept to deployment, including ideation, research, implementation, and maintenance (e.g., in-restaurant ordering feature).
• Utilize full stack expertise to enhance performance, reliability, and overall quality of existing features.
• Develop and execute a migration roadmap to transition the frontend from legacy component libraries to the in-house design system.
• Define and promote best practices in software development within the Core Team, ensuring high code quality and engineering standards.

Nice to Have

• (optional) Knowledge of DevOps culture and tools like GitHub Actions or Terraform.
• (optional) Experience with Meteor.js (or similar real-time solution).
