Java Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and self-reliant Senior Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop backend services that manage complex data update processes while integrating seamlessly with a wide array of internal applications. Your work will play a pivotal role in delivering mission-critical system integrations and data management solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the policy system using Java and Struts,

• Build solutions based on industry best practices,

• Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to clean code principles,

• Implement and maintain system integrations using REST and SOAP,

• Work with SQL databases and optimize queries,

• Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).

Our offer is for you if you:

• Have at least 3 years of commercial experience as a Java Developer,

• Have practical knowledge of EJB, Java, Struts, GIT, SQL,

• Are experienced in building integrations using REST and SOAP,

• Have participated in the entire software development lifecycle, from analysis to development and maintenance,

• Take responsibility for your applications and teamwork,

• Enjoy working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban),

• Are self-driven, communicative, and adaptable to new technological challenges.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of MS SQL,

• Experience with WebSphere Application Server,

• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence,

• Interest in contributing to internal tools and development processes (CI/CD, shared libraries, automation),

• Knowledge of RabbitMQ or Kafka.
