Be a part of a LogTech Innovation team, which actively participates in the digital transformation of Kuehne+Nagel using AWS cloud.
As a full-stack software engineer, you will develop pioneering digital products bringing additional value to our customers and partners. You will contribute to innovative greenfield projects in a modern cloud-native environment, leveraging the latest technologies. You’ll develop across the stack, with a focus on building intuitive, high-quality user interfaces for customer-facing applications. At the same time, you’ll support backend development by designing APIs, handling data integration, and working with cloud services in AWS. Your ability to think analytically, learn quickly, and bring creative solutions to the table will be key to your success.
You will work alongside experts using cutting-edge technology in a startup atmosphere, facilitating the digital transformation of the logistics industry. Working on globally scalable greenfield projects gives you the opportunity to design and develop innovative solutions to problems which are yet to be solved. How you create impact
Design and develop digital products that transform the logistics industry, working across the technical stack from frontend to backend.
Understand business requirements and translate them into running software.
Cooperate with product owners, business experts and data experts across all business units.
Manage the entire product lifecycle - from ideation through specification, prototyping, integration and maintenance.
Bring the most recent technology to life on top of an existing application landscape.
Sharpen and develop modern information architecture for the Kuehne + Nagel enterprise.
What we would like you to bring
Front-end development using one or more of modern web JS frameworks (Angular preferred) is beneficial.
Proficiency in Java (or Kotlin) is required. Python is a plus.
Experience with AWS (or GCP/Azure), Docker and microservices is an advantage.
Background in developing microservices with Docker, NoSQL/SQL databases is beneficial
DevOps and CI/CD mindset and proficiency with Git are required; we follow the 'You Build It, You Own It' approach.
Able to learn quickly with the capability to solve complex problems whilst working on own initiative. Your experience and learning capabilities will be evaluated through a technical assessment.
