Senior Wireless Network Engineer
Join a global industrial technology company that is building the next generation of wireless solutions for factories and plants. As an Senior Wireless Network Engineer, you will help design, test and deliver private 5G and Wi‑Fi solutions tailored specifically for Industrial IoT. You will work with the latest wireless technologies and play a key role in creating devices that change how industrial environments are connected and operated. The team is located in Katowice and it is expected to work in hybrid mode from the office. You will also take part in training in USA.
Key responsibilities
Help design and develop advanced wireless user equipment (5G, Wi‑Fi and other technologies) for Industrial IoT, using existing antennas, transceivers and RF components.
Create test plans, run simulations and perform lab tests to validate wireless performance in Industrial IoT scenarios.
Act as a technical lead for wireless and cellular IoT networking products.
Build strong relationships with product management and strategic partners to turn business requirements into solid technical solutions.
Analyze and debug complex RF and cellular issues in demanding industrial environments.
Stay current with trends in Industrial IoT, 5G, Wi‑Fi and networking, and bring new ideas and improvements to the team.
Contribute actively as part of a collaborative team and be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
Ideal candidate profile
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a focus on wireless communication.
8+ years of experience in network or test engineering.
Experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting wireless networks.
Strong knowledge of wireless standards and protocols, such as:
Wi‑Fi: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi‑Fi 6/6E/7), channel bonding, OFDMA, MU‑MIMO, roaming (802.11r/k/v).
Cellular: core network concepts (EPC, 5GC), 5G NR (NSA/SA), LTE, LTE‑Advanced, carrier aggregation, dual connectivity, network slicing.
Deep technical background in complex networking solutions and implementation strategies, including understanding of IT/OT convergence.
Experience in testing wireless networks.
Hands‑on experience with industry tools such as traffic generators, channel emulators, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, Wi‑Fi analysis tools and packet capture tools.
Knowledge of industrial control systems and MATLAB.
Very good written and spoken English - international environment
Openness to hybrid work from the office in Katowice
Abitility to travel to USA

Type of cooperation: B2B contract
Rate: 120 - 140 PLN/h
