Senior UX Designer (Medical / Scientific Devices)

Join a team developing advanced laboratory instruments used in scientific and medical research. You will design embedded touchscreen interfaces for complex devices, working closely with Product Owners, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders. This is not a marketing project—interfaces are embedded in instruments with significant logic and dependencies.

Key responsibilities

• Design UX for embedded applications and touchscreen interfaces

• Work with an existing design system

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews

• Translate research findings into actionable insights for the product and development teams

• Collaborate with PO, BA, developers, and other stakeholders on complex, enterprise-level tools

• Contribute to improving UX processes and design practices within the team

Ideal candidate profile

• Senior-level UX Designer with at least 4 years of experience

• Experience with enterprise or complex, tool-based products (preferably B2B)

• Self-starter with initiative and ability to make design decisions independently

• Strong system-level and conceptual thinking

• Comfortable communicating in English (C1+)

• Experienced in working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams

nice to have:

• Experience conducting user research: interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing (especially lean research methods)

• Experience with medical or scientific devices and their software interfaces

• Knowledge of biochemistry / molecular biology or laboratory workflows

• Experience building and maintaining design systems

• Experience in improving UX design processes and spreading design understanding across the organization

Conditions

• Work model: Hybrid or remote, with optional monthly visits to Wrocław.

• Start: ideally March (flexible)

• Rate: 125 PLN/h (B2B only)
